文明论视角下中国特色话语体系建构问题探析

On the Construction of a Discourse System with Chinese Characteristics from the Perspective of Civilization Theory

话语体系的建构问题本质上是一个关乎文化自信的问题,建构中国特色话语体系必须特别注意坚持文化自信。从文明论视角来看,一个国家和社会能否坚持文化自信,主要取决于它所代表的文化与文明是否在国际竞争和文明博弈中具有足够的综合实力;在“后西方”时代讲文化自信,就是要打破“西方中心主义”的思维习惯,从根本上肯定各大文明都有其不可替代的文化传统、经验智慧尤其是创新能力。因此文化自信必然表现为敢于进行各种创新行动,包括建构一套既有其文明特色又具有普遍性的话语体系,这既是文化自信的体现,又可反过来增强文化自信。在建构中国特色话语体系时坚持文化自信需要特别强调三个方面,一是充分利用中国传统学术的思想资源,二是深刻体认和阐发中华文明的核心价值,三是自觉养成中国学术共同体意识。

The construction of discourse systems is essentially a matter of cultural confidence. To build a discourse system with Chinese characteristics, we must pay close attention to cultural confidence. From the perspective of civilization theory, whether a country or society can maintain cultural self-confidence mainly depends on whether the culture and civilization it represents have sufficient comprehensive strength in international competition and civilization games. Talking about cultural self-confidence in the “Post-Western World” era is to break the inertial thinking of “West-tropism”, and fundamentally affirm that all major civilizations in the world have their irreplaceable cultural traditions, experiential wisdom, and particularly, innovation ability. Therefore, cultural self-confidence must be shown as the courage to carry out various innovative actions, including the construction of a discourse system that has both civilized characteristics of the culture itself and universality. This is not only the embodiment of cultural self-confidence, but also can in turn enhance cultural self-confidence. When building a discourse system with Chinese characteristics, we need to pay close attention to three aspects: first, we should make full use of the ideological resources of traditional Chinese academia;second, we should deeply understand and elucidate the core values of Chinese civilization;third, we should intentionally foster the consciousness of Chinese academic community.
