The cultivation and promotion of craftsman spirit need external support and guidance from public policy.Industrial workers are the only element linking tangible policies to intangible spirits,in the impact of economic support provided by salary treatment and welfare protection;capacity support provided by education and training and employment management and honor support provided by social status and appraisal incentives,its craftsman skill,craftsmanship and craftsman soul are developing constantly.The public policy of industrial workers since the reform and opening-up follows the logical evolution of the cultivation of spirit from a single economic support or ability support to"economy+ability+honor"diversified support.The cultivation and promotion of craftsman spirit in the new era should focus on the protection of the rights and interests of industrial workers,strengthen the perfection of the content of the policy text;combined with the development needs of industrial workers,promote the timely turn of policy value;adapt to the development environment of industrial workers and promote the effective allocation of policy elements.
