浅谈“留白”在高校课堂教学中的重要性

Brief Comments on Importance of “White Space” in College Classroom

有效的课堂教学需要适时、适当的"留白"。教学的本质是教会学生学习和思考,而"留白"就是给学生独立自主思考的时间。如何利用"留白"提高教学质量和教学水平,是教学改革中的首要问题。从"留白"这一特定视角出发,结合UBC见闻,综述不同教学模式中的"留白"及其重要性,供各位从事高等教育工作的同仁们参考。

Highly-efficient educating procedure needs appropriate"white space".Education means not only telling the students what they should do,but teaching them to think and find out how to do it."White space"allows students to think and behavior independently.How to use"white space"to improve teaching is the primary problem in teaching reform.From the view of"white space",combined with training experiences in UBC,this paper summarizes the importance of"white space"in different teaching models and hopes to provide reference for college education.
