Objective to explore effect of nursing intervention on chloral hydrate sedation and resuscitation of infants. Methods choose 250 infants with chloral hydrate enema sedation and examined with CT,MRI,hearing and color Doppler echocardiography randomly,as observation and control group, observe their vital signs and sucking ability. In observation group, one hour(±5 minutes)after medication, resuscitate patients by means of mandible holding test and trapezius muscle squeezing test through massage intervention, record vital signs and sucking ability changes before and after treatment in details. In control group, patients woke up naturally and record vital signs and sucking ability changes before and after treatment. Results vital signs changes in observation group fluctuated±10%one hour after medication through massage intervention, children could eat normally, effect on basic diseases showed no statistical significance. In control group, vital signs changes fluctuated±20%before medication, resuscitation time was prolonged, and eating time was prolonged, which affected treatment of basic diseases and drug metabolism. Conclusion appropriate manual intervention plays key role in recovery of infants after chloral hydrate sedation, and to a certain extent ensures nursing safety of infants after chloral hydrate sedation.
