Urban Resilience:Intellectual Origins,Knowledge Genealogy and Academic Reflection

近年来,城市韧性已成为一个引人注目的研究术语。从词源学以及学科演进角度回溯研究历程,大致历经研究肇始、接续发展和持续深化三个阶段,生态、经济、政治、文化共同构成了城市韧性研究的知识谱系。其中,生态维度提供了自然基础;经济维度贡献了可操作化模型与框架的理论建构;政治维度厘清了多元行动主体的权责体系,提供了一定的制度保障;文化维度关注文化传承、社会心理和价值认同的隐性作用,成为驱动城市韧性实践的精神动力。立足已有研究,我们将城市韧性定义为一种系统性自我实现的能力,尽管目前研究回应了风险和应急管理领域排斥不确定性之不足,实现了社会科学对自然科学的超越,但研究何以实现深度发展依旧是一个值得深思的问题。

In recent years,urban resilience has become a compelling research term.From the perspective of etymology and the evolution of the discipline,the research has gone through three stages of origin,successive development and continuous deepening,and its knowledge spectrum can be divided into four cognitive dimensions.Among them,the ecological dimension provides the natural foundation;the economic dimension contributes to the theoretical construction of operationalized models and frameworks;the political dimension clarifies the power and responsibility system of multiple actors and provides certain institutional guarantees;the cultural dimension focuses on the implicit role of cultural heritage,social psychology and value identity,and becomes the spiritual driving force of urban resilience practices.Based on the existing research,we define urban resilience as a systematic self-fulfilling ability.The current research responds to the shortage of exclusion of uncertainty in the field of risk and emergency management,realized the transcendence of social science over natural science,but how to achieve deep development of research remains a question worthy of deep consideration.
