Professor Wu Dahua’s Treatment of Vascular Dementia Based on Brain Yin and Yang Theory

血管性痴呆是临床常见病,伍大华教授创新性地提出脑髓阴阳理论,将血管性痴呆分为肾阴虚血瘀证和肾阳虚血瘀证,治疗上重视阴阳之道,在补肾活血的基础上分阴阳论治。常用滋肾活血汤和温肾活血汤治疗,疗效显著。

Vascular dementia(VaD)is a common clinical disease,professor Wu Dahua innovatively proposed the theory of Yin and Yang in the brain,vascular dementia is divided into insufficiency of kidney-yang and blood stasis(IKYANGBS)and insufficiency of kidney-yin and blood stasis(INYINBS),pay attention to Yin and Yang in treatment,on the basis of tonifying kidney and activating blood circulation,it is treated by yin and yang.Frequently use warming the kidney and promoting blood circulation(WKPBC)and nourishing the kidney and promoting blood circulation(NKPBC)decoction for treatment is effective.
