释意理论在大学英语翻译教学中的重要性

在中国特色文化对外传播的过程中,语言是文化的载体,翻译是沟通的桥梁。但是由于受到英语应试教育的影响,大多数大学英语语言学习者直译思维浓重,不能够完成中国特色文本的英译。文章简介了释意理论,对大学英语翻译过程中的直译现象进行了深入剖析,并提出了三步走解决方案。

During the process of the spreading our culture featured with Chinese characteristics,language is the carrier of culture and translation,which served as the bridge of communication.But influenced by the English examination-oriented education,most English learners have lodged the thinking of literal translation deeply in their minds,which will thus impede them to accurately translate those texts featured with Chinese characteristics.This article has briefly introduced interpretative theory and made a thorough analysis of the literal translation examples during the college English translation practice and also proposed three steps to solve this problem.
