The Characteristics, Contributions and Limitations of Narrative Research Methodology in Education Research

摘要 不同历史时期产生了教育研究不同的方法论取向。叙事研究方法论作为质性教育研究理论和方法,与教育研究关涉的依据理论主要来自多学科理论、哲学思想及其实践机理,其特征表现为背景因素与叙事意义的深层建构、边缘群体和草根话语的关注与倾听、研究视角和分析结构的拓展与革新。该方法论对教育的研究理念、价值选择及研究范式做出一定的贡献,但也存在不少局限,需要引起教育质性研究者的深思。 Different methodological orientations have been shaped in educational research during the different historical periods.Narrative research methodology as the theory and method of qualitative education research, had the basis of multidisciplinary theory,philosophical thinking and practical mechanism in promoting the development of education research. Based on these, three characteristics were revealed, including the deeply construction of background factors and sense of narrative, the attention of margin groups and their voice, the extension of research perspective and analysis structure. This methodology made great contributions to the education research ideas, axiological choice and paradigm, but it also had its limitations that needed to draw our attention.
