培养和提高大学生创新能力是新时代对高等教育的新要求,也是增强国家自主创新能力的战略举措。在教育过程中积极寻找培养学生创新能力的方法和途径是当前教育亟待解决的问题。而学科竞赛就是通过竞赛引导学生发现问题、分析问题、解决问题,提升学生理论联系实际、综合运用知识的能力,是高校培养创新应用型人才的有效途径之一,通过学科竞赛,可以促进高校进一步深化教学改革,培养出更多符合社会需求的人才。

Cultivating and improving college students’innovative ability is not only a new requirement of higher education in the new era,but also a strategic measure to enhance the national independent innovation ability.Actively looking for methods and ways to cultivate students’innovative ability in the process of education is an urgent problem to be solved in current education.Discipline competition is to guide students to find,analyze and solve problems through competition,and improve students’ability to integrate theory with practice and comprehensively use knowledge.It is one of the effective ways for colleges and universities to cultivate innovative and applied talents.Discipline competition can promote colleges and universities to further deepen teaching reform and cultivate more talents in line with social needs.
