The requirements of modern ships for power plants and the development of marine steam turbines are introduced.The operation and technical characteristics of marine steam turbines are emphatically described in detail,and the future development of marine steam turbines is summarized.In the future,the total power,economy and degree of automation of marine steam turbines will be further improved,and the structure will be further simplified.Taking into account the technical characteristics of steam turbines,it will still have broad application prospects in the field of ships.
