Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Languages Contributing to the Construction of Belt and Road Initiative

"一带一路"沿线国家语言不同,文化丰富多彩,因此,语言先行是"一带一路"深入民心、成功推进的第一要素。但是,在经济全球化的今天,只有语言还不能成功交际,必须树立跨文化交际意识,求同存异,才能达到民心相通的效果。汉语国际教育从中国的语言与文化出发,以各国人民友好交流、构建和谐世界为宗旨在全球推广汉语教学,助力"一带一路"建设。

Countries along the Belt and Road have different languages and diverse cultures, therefore, language is the first factor for the successful implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative. However, in the current background of economic globalization, peoples among different countries can’t communicate with each other successfully only by language, it’s necessary to establish cross-cultural communication awareness, seeking common ground while reserving differences, in order to achieve the effect of people-to-people communication.The project of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Languages is a good tool to improve this kind of communication, it started with Chinese language and culture, aiming at improving the friendly exchanges of peoples of all countries and constructing a harmonious world, by which to contribute the building of Belt and Road Initiative.
