区域金融内生性效率测算及分解——以广东省为例

Endogenous regional financial efficiency and decomposition:A case of Guangdong province

金融是现代经济增长的核心,但广东省金融发展与经济增长并不协调.对此,如何科学评价广东省区域金融效率并提出相应改善建议是关系广东省经济发展的重要问题.区别于早期的效率评价方法,文章使用一种新的多方向效率分析方法(MEA)对2007-2016年广东省金融业的整体效率以及各投入产出的个体效率进行内生性评价,并对比各地区的效率差异.研究结果发现,珠三角的金融效率在省内一直处于领先地位,而粤东、粤西和粤北地区呈现强势追赶,其间差距不断缩小;从个体效率来看,提升从业人员专业能力以及提高金融业生产总值是金融业提质增效的关键.

Finance is the core of modern economic growth.However,the financial development and economic growth in Guangdong province is not coordinated.Therefore,it is crucial to scientifically measure the regional financial efficiency of Guangdong province and put forward corresponding policy suggestions for improvement.Differing from previous efficiency measures,this paper uses a novel method,named the multi-direction efficiency analysis(MEA),to measure the overall efficiency and individual specific variable efficiency of the financial industry in Guangdong province covering the period from 2007 to 2016,and compare the efficiency gap between regions.The results show that the financial efficiency of the Pearl River Delta has always been at a leading position,while that of the eastern,western and northern areas of Guangdong has an obvious catch-up.Thus,the gap of financial efficiency among those areas has been narrowing.According to the individual specific variable efficiency,enhancing the professional ability of practitioners and increasing the financial industry output is the key to improving the efficiency of the financial industry.
