This paper selects innovative journalism papers from nearly 30 Chinese academic journals(including Hong Kong and Taiwan)in 2022 in terms of research issues, perspectives and demonstration methods. It also outlines the knowledge map of Chinese journalism in the past year from ten topics, such as the meta issue of journalism research, media construction of news reports under the COVID-19,research on news practitioners, the platform logic of digital news production, research on news receivers, the authenticity of the transmutation of news, research on the transformation of Chinese journalism,multi-dimensional perspectives of news professional ethics, local practice in Chinese journalism, and research on Chinese journalism history. The research finds that the main characteristics of Chinese journalism research in 2022 are as follows:Firstly, journalism theory research focuses on the continuous reflection on the discipline paradigm and classic news concepts;Secondly, researchers focus on multiple actors of news production in the dual context of platform logic and journalism transformation,in which the research of news practitioners is particularly prominent, reflecting the disenchantment of digital technology myth in the academic field;Thirdly, the study of news history focuses on the traditional research path centering on the practice of newspapers and periodicals, focusing on the construction of social discourse of newspapers and periodicals, the marginal groups of newspapers and the space practice of newspapers.
