摘要
Since the start-up of the journal in June 2014,thirteen special issues have been published.Some popular ones of them are listed chronologically as follows:Topic:Peripheral Nerve Repair and Regeneration Guest Editor:Dr.Francesca Toia,Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,Department of Surgical,Oncological and Oral Sciences,University of Palermo,Palermo,Italy.With the present special issue on“nerve regeneration and repair”,we wish to summarize the state of the art of translational and clinical research and present the current trends and future prospects in peripheral nerve surgery.For this purpose,most of the twelve papers in this issue are review papers.
