商业智能是一种基于大量信息基础上的提炼和重新整合的过程,这个过程与知识共享和知识创造紧密结合,完成了从数据到信息到知识的转变。商业智能可以用来辅助商业活动作出快速反应,加快知识的获取速度,减少企业的不确定因素的影响,满足管理层和决策层对信息知识的时间性和准确性的要求。文章在商业智能的基本概念基础上,提出了商业智能体系结构,并针对此结构详细阐述了商业智能的实施过程、核心技术及典型应用。

Business intelligence (BI),which is a strategic approach for enterprises to transform raw data into insights and intelligence,aims at developing conclusive, fact-based and actionable information from daily and historic data generated by the enterprise operating system. BI can help decision makers to anticipate business opportunities and threats,so it is a key technology for enterprises to establish and maintain competitive advantage in the era of knowledge economy. In this paper, a general overview of the framework and key technologies of BI is presented,and the implementation process and typical application of BI are also described.
