当代戏剧文学衰微的主要表现有:题材单一、内容浅薄;思想庸俗化,缺乏优秀艺术作品应有的对社会、人生和人性的批判精神;无艺术创新能力,作品缺乏深刻的现实主义精神和先锋精神;文学在戏剧艺术诸要素中处于附庸地位。

The main expressions of the wane of contemporary drama literature are: the subject matter is unitary and the content is superficial;the idea is vulgar and has no critical spirit toward society,life and human nature,which a good artistic work must have;deficient of innovation,the works are lacking in realistic spirit and vanguard spirit,and the drama literature is in a dependency position among various elements of drama.
