For the material circulation and energy flow existing in the building and environment,energy principle is the key of nature characteristic in green building which has the problems such as embodied energy,energy using and economic cost in the practice. From criticizing the consumptism in architectural activity,the view of value based on energy principle is built up,and the principle of the least cost is thought as the foundation of green building.
