Unite to Hold an Unprecedented Exhibition——Record on the Preparation for “Harmonious but Diverse·China Contemporary Nominated Sculpture Exhibition”

一 在《雕塑》杂志创刊十周年之际,于2005年7月30日,在中华世纪坛拉开了"黄天厚土雕塑大展"暨《雕塑》杂志创刊十周年邀请展的帷幕.……

In the past national art exhibition,sculpture works were not emphasized,while in specific sculpture exhibition,because of the theme of exhibition,the style and the material of works,the scale was too limited to cover the whole country. So,could we make the 'Harmonious but Diverse' exhibition be a high standard and large national exhibition? The answer was we could. We set several local exhibitions,for example,the southwest exhibition was held with the '12th China Sculpture Forum' at the same time in Chengdu. The other exhibitions were also confirmed to be held in south China,northwest China,northeast China,east China and north China.
