摘要
从劳动分工和迂回生产经济性的角度指出 ,将一个产品的生产分解为多个业务流程的原因在于流程种类数经济。然后 ,构建了企业资源、业务流程、产成品、顾客价值之间相互关系的概念模型 ,探讨了业务流程外包的特征及其同实物产品和知识产品外包之间的区别。最后 ,从组织成本与交易成本之间的权衡、流程规模经济的不平衡性。
The authors revealed that the reason why there are usually several processes in the production of one goods is to utilize the economies of variety of business processes. A model illustrating the sophisticated relationship among enterprise resources, business processes, components, product and customer value, was proposed before summarizing the characteristics of BPO (Business-process Outsourcing) and its differences against the physical and intellectual goods outsourcing. Although the value of BPO was assumed to rest on the provider's ability to leverage economies of scale and skills, access low-cost locations and labor, yet all these values could be acquired by OEM (original equipment manufacturing), component outsourcing, or vertical integration.The reason of BPO was attributed to the trade off between transaction cost and organization cost, imbalance of economies of scale among different business processes involved in a specific production, and difficulty in acquiring external core competence.
