Three Pairs of Complimentary Relations in the Development of Linguistic Research

本文包括三个部分。第一部分,讨论一家之言和百花齐放的互补;第二部分,讨论现代意识和朴学精神的互补;第三部分,讨论引进提高和自强自立的互补。学科的发展,无处不存在辩证法。本文讨论的,只是语言学科发展过程中各种辩证互补关系的三对。

Dialectical relationship is common in the development of a discipline. In the paper three pairs of dialectical complimentary relations in the development of linguistic research are discussed: the complimentary relations between 1) the thought of an individual and the thoughts of different schools; 2) modern ideas and traditional spirit; 3) the introduction of new ideas and self-development.
