陕北榆林地区"大场秧歌",一般在广场进行,属全体秧歌舞队的集体舞蹈,是陕北秧歌最为壮观热闹的一种表演形式。其音乐多采用当地的民歌小调,以及器乐合奏曲牌,具有浓郁的地方特色与鲜明的风格特征。其复调特征极为明显。

The "large-scale yangge"in Yulin of northern Shaanxi was usually conducted in a square.It belonged to a collective dance participated by all the dancers in a team.It is also the most spectacular form of performance with its music adopting the local folk song tunes as well as instrumental music tutti of a certain type.It has a strong local flavor and striking style and characteristics.Its polyphonic trait is extremely obvious.
