服务贸易出口技术复杂度与经济增长——基于跨国面板数据的实证分析

Technological Level of Export in Service and Economic Development

本文通过构建和计算服务贸易出口技术复杂度指数,利用1997—2009年间的跨国面板数据,对服务贸易出口技术复杂度与经济增长的关系进行了经验分析。结论表明,服务贸易出口技术复杂度对经济增长有着显著的积极影响,即,服务贸易出口技术复杂度越高,对经济增长的促进作用就越明显。在中国服务贸易发展相对滞后以及外贸发展方式亟待转型升级的背景下,提倡大力发展服务贸易不应单纯追求规模的扩张,更应注重服务贸易出口技术复杂度的提升,如此,才能更为有效地推进中国外贸发展方式转型,以及更为有效地促进中国经济又好又快地发展。

This paper constructs the index measuring technological level of service export and carries out calculating it,based on which,this paper examine the relationship between technological level of service export and economic development by utilizing cross countries panel data covering period from 1997 to 2009.Result shows that the two variables have sig-nificant positive relationship,namely,the higher the technological level of service export,more important it will be in promoting economic development.Under background that the development of China's trade in service is lagged and development mode of China's foreign trade needs upgrading urgently,to advocate development of service trade should not only dwell on expansion of volume,but should emphasize the improvement in techno-logical level of service export of China,thus,we can realize upgrading of development of China's foreign trade and promoting development of China's economy better.
