摘要
当前有关中国哲学"合法性"问题的讨论,应限于对我们研究"中国哲学"之方式的反思,而不应看作是对中国传统思想本身的一种判定。哲学本是一种历史性的学问,从某种意义上讲,哲学就是哲学史。中国传统哲学所关注的历史,一是知识性的历史(事);一是通过经典的诠释开显当下生命存在的意义,即"存在性的历史"(道)。史通大道,道、事一体,这是中国传统哲学之能够与时俱新,引领现实,保持原创性生机的基本原则。现代的中国哲学研究,偏向于脱离"存在性的史"之基础,退居学院化的知识性一极。突出传统思想的历史文化内涵,强调教化对于义理、"存在性的史"对于"知识性的史"的奠基作用,应是当前中国哲学研究所予以重视的问题。
The discussion now on the legitimacy about Chinese philosophy should not be regarded as a determinant about Chinese traditional thought itself, but as the reflection on the Ways which we used in our study on Chinese philosophy. Generally speaking, Philosophy belongs to historical knowledge, so philosophy is just philosophic history in some way. There are two kinds of histories concerned in Chinese traditional philosophy : one is on knowledge; the other is on' Tao',that is ,a history can show the currently meaning about our lives by annotating about traditional sutras. History leads to' Tao', ' Tao'equals to'Shi'.The essential principles which make Chinese traditional philosophy can update itself with the time, can keep its original, creative vital force for all time .Now, study on Chinese philosophy has begun to divorce from the philosophic history on' Tao'and degenerated to single academic knowledge in a large scale . To attach importance to the historic and cultural meaning in Chinese traditional thought, to emphasize the basic role in civilization and in philosophic history on' Tao'and the thought of universal truth( the thought of Yili) and the philosophic history on knowledge, all these should be emphasized in study on Chinese philosophy at this time.
