摘要
衔接是语篇的显著特征之一,也是实现语篇连贯的重要手段。衔接概念是一个语义概念,它是指形成语篇的意义关系。本文在韩礼德和哈桑衔接理论的指导下,主要分析了衔接手段在中国大学生英语写作中的不恰当使用,进而提出了一些供教师和学生参考的意见和建议,旨在帮助学生正确运用各种衔接手段,增加文章的连贯性,提高他们的英语写作水平。
Cohesion is one of the remarkable features in text,and also the important means to achieve a coherent discourse.The concept of cohesion is a semantic one;it refers to relations of meaning that exist within the text,and that define it as a text.This paper,in accordance with the theory of Halliday and Hasan's,mainly analyzes the inappropriate use of cohesive devices in English writing among Chinese students,and then puts forward some suggestions for teachers and students,aiming to help students correctly apply to all kinds of cohesive devices to increase the coherence of the article and therefore improve their level of English writing.
