Every country all over the world is trying to establish a scientific food supervision system and improve its cooperation mechanism and so does Japan. In this article,it is introduced that the establishment of Japan's food management policy,laws and regulations of food,transformation of food administration and its cooperation mechanism. Furthermore,this paper also introduced the obligation and division of specialized agencies to supervise food safety. Japan's administration and its cooperation mechanism which attain the results expected are suited to Japan's national situations.
