本文结合考古和古文字材料，对安徽淮河流域西周时期文化进行了深入的探讨，指出周文化势力在西周时已深入到淮河中游地区，其南界并未越过江淮分水岭一线。

In the light of data of archaelogy and. ancient cbaracters, this article delves into the WestrenZhou culture in the Huai River valley in Anhui province and points out that the Zhou culture had ex-erted its influence deep into the middle reaches of Huai River even in the period of Western Zhou,though it had not crossed the Yangzi-Huaihe watershed in the South.
