摘要
The site of the three Northern Song Dynasty tombs are located about 500 meters south of Tonglou Village, Zhayuan Township, Jiaxian County, Henan Province. In October 1997, the Henan Provincial institute of Archaeology and Cultural Relics excavated the site. The three tombs share similar structure and style. All of them are north-south, stone masonry, hexagonal, timber structure imitation, single-chambered tombs. Each one of them comprises passage, gate f vaulted passage and chamber. The passage is located on the south side of the tomb. The chamber is blocked by long bricks. The ceiling is hexagonal in shape. The three tombs did not yield any burial goods except two human skeletons were recovered in each tombchamber. It is argued that the tombs were located in a facely cemetery for multiple secondary burials. it dates should be bracketed between coddle and late Northem song Dynasty.
