摘要
本项调查以6所外语学院250名二年级学生为对象用11种测量手段,对与英语学习成绩有关的17项自变量和13项社会心理因素进行测试。统计结果显示,6种因素对学生的英语学习成绩影响最大:语言学能,学习动机,院校类型,性别,中学类型,和场独立型的认知方式;63.4%的学习差异是这6种因素引起的。
This is a report by a research team which investigated the psychological and sociopsycholo-gical factors of English language learning. The subjects were 250 end-of-2nd year majors of English randomly selected from 6 foreignlanguages institutions across the country. Altogether, 17 variables and 13 demographic factorswere involved in the study, the criterial variable being the subjects' overall English proficiency.11 instruments were used to measure all the variables and factors investigated. Statistical results showed that 63.4% of the variance in the subjects' language achievementwas accounted for by the following 6 variables or factors: language aptitude, motivation, collegetype, field independence, sex and type of middle school.
