摘要
根据Halliday关于语篇衔接的理论,对英语专业部分本科生作文中的连接词语和词汇衔接情况进行分析研究,发现我国大学生英语作文中存在衔接词语匮乏及对衔接词语意义把握不准等问题,建议在英语写作中加强衔接词语的训练。
Based on Halliday's theory, this paper analyses the conjunction and lexical cohesion in 50 Chinese college students' English compositions. The result indicates the lack and misuse of cohesive words in students' compositions. Therefore the author suggests that the teachers of English writing should reinforce cohesion training in writing teaching.
