网络热词的英译分析

热词作为一种词汇现象,通常可以反映出一个国家在一定时期内人们所关注的事物及现象。随着网络在中国的繁荣发展,大量的网络热词涌现出来并且越来越频繁地出现在我们的日常生活中。这些新词在为我们提供生动有趣的表达的同时也给翻译者带来了巨大的挑战——如何在保留其新意的情况下进行准确的翻译。本文尝试用Nida的功能对等理论探究中国网络热词的英译,并据此提出三种翻译此类词汇的方法,即直译法、音译法和创译法。

Hot words as vocabulary phenomenon, usually reflect things and phenomena a country of people's concerns in a given period. With the prosperity and development of the network in China, a large number of network hot words emerge and more frequently in our daily lives. These provide interesting new words in expression but also to translate for us to bring a huge challenge- how accurate translation while retaining its new. This paper attempts to use Nida's functional equivalence theory to explore Chinese network hot words into English, and accordingly put forward three kinds of translation methods such words, that literal translation, transliteration and innovative translation.
