摘要
本文运用定量研究的方法,分析了学习者因素与全国大学英语四级考试成绩的关系。研究结果表明,在代表学习者因素的16个变量中有7个对考试成绩具有明显的预测能力。高分组与低分组在代表学习者可控因素的10个变量上表现出显著差异。
The paper reports a survey study on the relationship between learner variables and scores on College English Test - Band 4. 1,081 second-year students from three universities responded to the questionnaire 'Learner Factors' in March, 1995 and three months later, they took the nation-wide College English Test -Band 4. The statistical results show that 7 out of 16 learner variables can predicate their test scores, and the higher achievers and lower achievers display significant differences in 10 modifiable learner variables.
