溶致相分离法制备聚合物分散液晶光开关

Fabrication of Polymer-dispersed Liquid Crystals Using Solvent-induced Phase Separation and Experimental Study on its Switching Effect

摘要 以溶致相分离的方法制备了PMMA基的PDLC,并首次对影响其光开关效应的因素做了较为系统的研究。结果表明,液晶含量从40%增加到50%使得PDLC体系的透过率升高了近20%(从62%到80%),从而减弱了光开关效应。进一步增加液晶含量不提高体系的透过率,却使光开关效应愈发不明显;固化温度从室温(22度)增大到液晶清亮点附近(55度)则显著提高了光开关效应。 PDLC based on PMMA thin film was fabricated using solvent-induced phase separation and a general study on the factors which will affect the switching effect was represented in the paper for the first time. The results show that the increase of liquid crystal(LC) ratio(from 40% to 50%) raise the transmission of PDLC, therefore weaken the switching effect. A father increase of LC ratio will do nothing but weaken the switching effect. The change of solidifying temperature from room temperature (22 degree) to the clear point of LC (55 degree) enhance the switching effect.
