摘要
在低比特率视频编码时,全零块的预先判断,能够有效地减少编码器的计算复杂性,是优化编码器常用的技术之一。该文根据离散余弦变换(DCT)和量化运算的特点,提出了一种新的用于低比特率视频编码的全零块预先判别方法。实验结果表明,在保持图像质量满足应用需求的情况下,这种方法能显著减少冗余运算,节省编码时间。
In the low rate video encoding process,predetermination of all-zero blocks which can be applied to reduce the computational complexity is a common method to optimize the software coder.A new method for predetermination of all-zero blocks in low rate video coding is proposed,which is based on characters of discrete cosine transform(DCT) and quantization.Experiments show the proposed method dramatically reduces computation when keeping the quality of pictures up to the practical requirements.
