Polyphasic classification of three new species of the genus Streptomyces

在筛选产生活性物质的过程中,发现4株具有抑菌、杀虫等生物活性的链霉菌.利用形态学、生理生化、化学及分子生物学程序进行了分类鉴定,并与链霉菌属已知相关菌种进行了比较,将YIM32065T和YIM33176定名为多形链霉菌新种(Streptomycespolyformussp.nov.),YIM35551T定名为抗霉链霉菌新种(Streptomycesantifungussp.nov.),YIM30823T定名为灰白链霉菌新种(Streptomycesgriseoalbussp.nov.).

In the course of the screening of producers of bioactive metabolites,four actinomycete strains with bioactivities were selected.Classification and identification of the four strain were carried out by using cultural,physiological,biochemical,chemical and molecular procedures,and compared with known species of the genus Streptomyce.Three new species are proposed under names Streptomyces polyformus sp.nov.(YIM32065~T and YIM33176),Streptomyces antifungus sp.nov.(YIM35551~T),Streptomyces griseoalbus sp.nov.(YIM30823~T).
