词汇衔接是一种非结构性衔接手段 ,是实现语篇连贯的多种衔接机制之一。本文讨论词汇衔接在语篇连贯中的作用、词汇衔接和语篇连贯的关系 ,并提出了如何在大学英语语篇教学中运用词汇衔接理论的策略。
Lexical cohesion is non-structural cohesive means and one of the cohesive mechanisms leading to text coherence.The paper probes into the functions of lexical cohesion in text coherence and the relationship between lexical cohesion and text coherence.The paper also discusses how the strategies of the lexical cohesion theory are put into use in college English teaching of text.
