研究了国产聚苯硫醚(PPS)的可纺性及其纤维的热学性能与形态结构。结果表明,聚苯硫醚原粉经熔融真空净化处理后具有较好的可纺性。PPS初生纤维在高于其玻璃化温度T_(?)和比冷结晶起始温度低10℃左右的温度范围内可以顺利地进行拉伸。拉伸纤维经高温热处理和交联后,可以进一步提高热稳定性。该纤维具有较为光滑的表面、图形断面以及层状微纤形态结构。纤维试样中也发现了液晶高聚物纤维所特有的皱折表面(pleat surface)形态和垂直于纤维轴方向的条带织构(banded texfure)。
The spinnability of poly (phenylene sulfide) and the structure characteristics of the fibers therefrom were studied. The as-spun fibers may be smoothly and effeciently drawn at temperatures ranging from its glass transition temperature to that approximately 10℃ lower than the cold crystallization onset temperature. Thermal annealing and thermal cross-linking enhance the thermal stability of PPS fiber to a certain extent. This fiber exhibits liquid crystalline polymer morphology characterized by its pleat surface and 'banded texture.
