摘要
经过对高校英语文化教学现状的调查与分析 ,笔者发现大多数教师尽管主观上认识到文化教学的重要性 ,但实际上对如何有效地把文化教学融入到他们的课堂缺乏充分的理解。笔者从文化教学相关变量 (环境、教师、学习者、教学法、教材、测试 )方面进行了剖析 。
This paper offers a survey and discussion of the situation of English cultural learning in higher education. The findings reveal that although the majority of teachers subjectively support the important role of culture in EFL learning, they still need more understanding of how to incorporate culture into their own EFL classes. Based on the analysis of the variables related to setting, teacher, learner, method, curriculum material and assessment, some suggestions are proposed to improve the practice of English cultural teaching in universities and colleges.
