摘要
本文作者根据功能对等理论，结合中英电影片名的特点，提出了指导电影片名翻译的四大价值标准，概括了片名翻译的主要方法。
Exploring the sources, types, functions and styl es of movie titles, within the framework of functional equivalence, this article introduces four basic valu es, namely the informative, the cultural, the aesthetic and the commercial, together with four translating methods to pilot both E-C and C-E movie title translation.
