This paper focuses on reasearch of relationship between coal-source material and growing of diamond crystal. It is of important value in fact for its contribution to development of composing technique of diamond coal-from material. It introduces relationship between coal-source material properties and growing of diamond crystal. It also discusses transforming ways of different types of coal-source materials to diamond and influential elements of transforming effect. On the basis of analyzing coal-source material properties, this paper points out optimum seeking rule for coal-source material to compose diamond and its importance and necessarity.
