Present Situation of Sports Tourism and Exploration of Its Developmental Opportunities in Shaanxi

以西部开发、北京办奥运为切入点,分析了陕西旅游业的发展现状和旅游资源优势,提出了抓住历史机遇,充分利用陕西的旅游环境优势和自然资源优势,开发集休闲、娱乐、健身、观光旅游相结合的体育旅游,促进地域经济和陕西旅游业的可持续发展。

Starting from the development in the west region and the Beijing Olympics, the paper analyzes the present situation of sports tourism in Shaanxi Province and the advantages of tourism and puts forward the suggestions in terms of grasping the historical opportunities, making full use of the advantages of tour environment and natural resources in Shaanxi Province, developing sports tourism integrating leisure, recreation, fitness and sightseeing and promoting the regional economy and the sustainable development of tourism industry in Shaanxi Province.
