略谈欧阳修对道教的排拒和对老庄思想的吸收

On Ouyang Xiu’s Rejection of Taoism and Acceptance of Lao Zhuang's Thoughts

欧阳修一生笃信儒学 ,力排佛老 ,晚年并无动摇 ,只是态度不如先前激烈而已。欧拒绝道家的神仙茫昧之学 ,但接受了老庄思想的影响 ,主要表现在看淡荣名利禄 ,善于自处 ,尊重自然规律 ,善待生命上。

Ouyang Xiu believed in Confucianism but had no faith in Buddhism all his life except that in his late years he showed a less extreme attitude towards them. Ouyang Xiu rejected Taoism, but was influenced by Lao Zhuang’s thoughts, which is mainly embodied in his showing no interest in fame or wealth, his selfdiscipline, his respect to the natural law and his good treatment to life.
