摘要 从修辞学角度研究的“隐喻”和从认知角度研究的“隐喻”是两个既有联系又有区别的概念。认知隐喻建立在修辞格隐喻研究中所发现问题的基础之上,二者的研究目的、方法以及范围等有很大差别。本文旨在区分这两个概念,并对正确理解诸如“概念隐喻”等术语提出自己的看法。 Metaphor” is not the same concept from a perspective of cognitive study as from the perspective of rhetorical study, though they are related in some way. Although the study of cognitive metaphor is inspired by the problems found in its rhetorical research, its objectives, methods and scope in cognitive research differ greatly from that in rhetorical research. This article aims at explaining the two different meanings of metaphor and helping better understand the terms used in cognitive study of metaphor such as “conceptual metaphor”.
