Based on the exploration and practice over the past several years, coupled with the analysis of the present situation of cultural education in the excellent athletic teams, it was concluded that quality-oriented education should be implemented in carrying out cultural education in the excellent athletic teams. Reforms must be carried out in the aspects of the concept of educational thought, formation of teaching faculty, moral education of students, curriculum design and teaching materials as well as teaching methods etc. so as to bring up numbers of excellent sports talents suitable to the development of the society in the 21st century.
