摘要
外刊教学必须导入文化,主要内容是知识文化,观念文化和词语文化.文化导入要注意四个原则;关联性、适度性、实用性和科学性.常用方法有启发诱导法、直接阐释法、案例剖析法、归纳总结法和鉴别批评法.
The paper sets forth the importance of teaching culture in the course of Selected Readings from Foreign News Publications, dealing mainly with three aspects:background information about different fields,related concepts and beliefs,and cultural connotations of words. It is the author's view that to be more effective,culture teaching has to be related to the text, appropriate in amount, practical in value and natural in approach. the paper also makes an attempt to illustrate the methods frequently used in culture teaching:elicitation, interpretation,synthesization,discussion and case study.
