Piaget and Vygotsky were the most in fluential psychologists in the 20thcentary.Th ey developed two lines of studying children's development. There was fundamental difference between the two lines; at the same time, there were many similariti es and overlaps among their research methods and concrete views. The two approac hes interacted and complemented each other, presenting a full picture of children's development.
