The Relationship Betwcen Nanjing National Government and Shanghai as Financial Center in Mod-ern China

上海开埠后,金融地位开始迅速上升,辛亥前夕已具有了跨地区、甚至全国性的影响。与华北的财政性金融中心相比,上海金融业与商贸及社会经济的关系较为密切,对工商业与社会经济发展有明显的推动作用。1927至1937年间上海金融业与国民政府之间的复杂关系有一整合的过程。

Shanghai's financial status was promoted rapidly after being opened to foreigners. Finance inShanghai before 1911 revolution had had transregional or even nationwide influence. Contrastedwith fiscal financial center in northern China, finance in Shanghai had close relationship with com-merce and industry, and promoted the development of social economy obviously. There was an intricate integration course between Shanghai's finance and National Government inl927-1937.
