The Cardinal Principles of Information Science

根据情报活动的特点和规律,提出了情报科学有动态适应、转化促生情报智能化、不确定性和反馈五种原理。这些原理既互相独立,又相互联系。只有将其综合应用,才能使情报活动的目的得以实现。

On the basis of the characteristics and the pattern of information activities, this paper proposes that information science has five principles, i.e.dynamic adaptation, transformation and promoting generation, information intellectualization, indetermination and feedback These principles are independent and related to each other. The aim of informa tion activities can be realized only when the principles are used synthetically.
