Objective To explore a suitable calculating method of percentile for un-grouped data. Methods The one has been advanced, and it has been compared with old method by medical examples as simulating experiment in computer. Results The percentile determined with new method is identical with theoretical one, that determined with it is steady than old method. Conclusion Under computer and software is popular, the new calculating method of percentile in un-grouped data is very a suitable method in determining medical ranges.
