党的先进性是党的生命——对“三个代表”精神实质的解读

Advanced Character is the Life of the Party——Reflections on the Spiritual Essence of Triple Representative

江泽民同志关于“三个代表”的重要思想,是新世纪全面加强党的建设的伟大纲领。这一思想集中论述了党的先进性,其精神实质就是要紧紧把握时代的脉搏,与时俱进,始终站在时代潮流的前列,永葆党的先进性。先进性是党的生命,这不仅是因为保持党的先进性是政党政治的基本要求,而且是从根本上关系着无产阶级政党的生死存亡。对于执政的中国共产党来说,保持党的先进性,党才能具有继续领导人民前进和执掌国家政权的资格和能力,党的执政地位才能巩固,国家才有希望,民族才有希望。我们深刻领会“三个代表”的重要思想,应当把思想认识集中到执政党如何保持党的先进性上来。

The significant idea of the Three Rep resents is the great guiding princip le to strengthen the Party's constru ction in an all -round way in the new stage.The id ea concentrates on discussions of th e party's advanced character ,whose spiritual essence aims at keeping pace with the age ,going along with age trends in advance and kee ping advanced character of the Party always .Advanced character is the life of the Party ,not only because it is the basic require ment for political affairs of politi cal party to keep advanced character ,but also because it is vit al to the very existence of proletarian party in essence .Concerning CPC i n power ,only by keeping advanced character can the Party have qualifications and abilities to wi eld state power ,to lead Chinese peop le forge ahead ,and to make China become more and more hopeful .Nowadays ,we should centralize our view on how to keep advanced character o f the Party with regards to explanations of the Three Represents Theory in depth.
