试论模糊语言的交际功能

On Communicative Functions of Fuzzy Language

模糊语言 ,是指语言表达式所呈现出的不精确现象 ,或指带有模糊性的自然语言。近年来 ,越来越多的学者开始认识到 ,同精确语言一样 ,模糊语言也是一种有用的表意手段 ,并在语言交际中起着非常重要的作用。无数的事实表明 ,虽然语言是模糊的 ,但它并不妨碍有效的交际 ,反而能大大增强语言的表现力和交际效果 ,使语言表达更自然、得体 。

Fuzzy language refers to the form of language whose concepts of linguistic expressions do not have sharply defined boundaries, or the natural language that has fuzziness as its inherent property. In recent years, more and more scholars have come to realize that fuzzy language, just like precise language, is also a useful means of exchanging ideas, and it plays a very important role in language communication. Countless facts show that even though the language is somewhat fuzzy, it does not hinder any effective language communication. On the contrary, it dramatically benefits linguistic expressivenesses and increases communicative effects. Therefore, in many cases, it can make linguistic expressions more natural and graceful, and convey human feelings and thoughts more effectively.
